Am I eligible to vote in Maine? What documents do I need to establish residency?
>> Registering to vote requires proof of identification and proof of residency. If you have a valid Maine driver's license or ID number with your current residence address, that’s all you need!
>> If you register with the last 4 digits of your Social Security Number as proof of identification or if the address on your driver's license or ID is not current, you may be required to provide additional documentation (like a bill or bank statement addressed to your current address) before you can vote in a Maine election.

>> If you pay "out-of-state tuition" as a student at a Maine college or university, that’s ok! You can still establish residency in Maine for voting purposes!

Completing an absentee ballot application and submit it by:

>> The last day for early voting is Thursday, October 31, which is also the only day it’s open late – until 7pm!
